Thai Burger Company - Authentic Thai Flavors in San Diego’s Best Burgers

They had a stall in Balboa Park when I went last night next to the Japanese garden. Was not expecting how flavorful and delicious the burger was going to be. I got the original and Thai ice tea which was also great. They were very friendly. I'm visiting family here and live in Jersey and regret not being able to go back to try the other food and get more. Definitely hitting up their storefront next time I visit. Try them you will be surprised!

This place is a gem, and is one of my few must-visit spots any time I’m in town. Every item on the menu is fantastic, but if it’s your first time, try the classic bbq pork burger. Filling, affordable, and an incredible flavor that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. The owner and chef, Perry, is the best - you’ll be treated like a regular on your first visit and you’ll feel like a regular by your second. Just an overall great establishment run by people who love their community and have a real passion for making quality food. Keep an eye out for their food truck too!

These 2 guys have a food truck at the Japanese gardens. The food was great! Fries were as fresh as could be, they sliced the potatoes right in front of us. Everything was flavorful and spice was on point, not too much. Also, the guys were super chill and helpful because we're visiting and never had Thai.

Made my day I visited Thai Burger Company today and had such a sweet experience. I ordered the Spicy Thai BBQ Chicken Burger, and it was absolutely amazing! The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, the cucumbers added a fresh, satisfying crunch, and the jaew tamarind sauce gave it the perfect savory kick . Honestly, it was mouthwatering — every bite was a little moment of happiness . But what really made my day was the server, John. He was super funny, genuinely sweet, and somehow made me a little giddy . It’s rare for someone to make a simple meal feel so memorable, but he definitely did.. I’ll definitely be coming back — not just for the burger, but for the little moments that made today feel so special. See you soon, John :)

Had the spicy pork burger and it was very good! It felt like I was eating an authentic Thai meal in the form of a burger! Will definitely be recommending this to others to try!

I tried the original burger today with an egg added and a side of the shrimp balls. Fantastic. The burger was sweet and delicious. The shrimp balls were delightful. The staff are all fun, kind people. I definitely recommend going in!

This place seriously blew me away. They serve burgers with sticky rice as the buns, and not only is the concept cool — the flavor was amazing. Everything had a really authentic Thai taste that made it stand out from any regular burger joint. The owner was super nice and welcoming, and you could tell he really cared about the food and your experience. He recommended the spicy burger and wow… it was off the chain. Tons of flavor, just the right amount of heat, and it somehow made you want another bite even while your mouth was cookin with some thai heat!! The Thai BBQ fries were also a hit — everyone at the table loved them. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and addicting. And don’t even get me started on the Thai iced tea — served in mason jars, super refreshing, and they even do refills at a smaller charge which is a nice touch. Overall, just a really cool spot with a chill vibe, awesome food, and great people. Definitely coming back!!!
